Mr Cornwell, I think that like most people who contact you I will begin telling you how much I enjoy your books. I’m Brazilian and… well, I own every single book you wrote that has been published here. And that’s a problem. Considering that our publisher is releasing 1 Sharpe book a year… it will take something around 15 years to be able to acquire the entire Sharpe series in Brazilian Portuguese. Apart from that I have a question that is bothering me for quite some time. Specially now that I recently finished reading “Sharpe’s Rifles”. How is to write a novel like the Sharpe’s stories, where you write it out of historical order? How complicated is to fit most of the previous and the next book’s facts in a new one? Sorry if I’m a bit confusing, it is late and I just finished Stonehenge! :) My sincere congratulations for your splendid books. Your fan Gustavo.
