Dear Bernard I have just finished reading my much thumbed copy of Sharpe’s Waterloo which I re-read on the heels of Iain Gale’s excellent ‘Four days in June’ It must be the 15th time I’ve read it and I just felt moved to tell you yet again what a wonderful novel this one is. Utterly brilliant and I think, comfortably my favourite. What a way to climax a series(Sharpe’s Devil not withstanding) Thanks again! Now of course I’m going to have to read the whole series all over again so may I ask when the next Sharpe is due and any clue as to which of the ever shrinking list of engagements it might feature? Looking forward to Azincourt Kind regards Rob Comber
