Mr. Cornwell, I have enjoyed every book you have written that I can lay my hands on , and to say that each and every one was superb, would have to be an understatement. No matter if it is a tale of modern day, or my particular favourites, The Arthur , Saxon, and Hookton series, I have to applaud you as the Master storyteller of my life. I am now over Seventy years of age, and like yourself, my family goes back away , and probably to, the Danes. My forbears left England in 1875, to come to New Zealand , a Journey fraught with danger on a Sailing ship.Curiously , my Great grandfather, chose to change the name of all descendants born in New Zealand from that time,to Boult from his, which was Bolt. I can find no record of him being in trouble with the law , and can only presume that he wished the descendants to be known differently ,i.e. by adding the U it meant in some way that they were born down under? They originated in Heavitree in Devon, and James/Henry married a Somerset girl. Sorry , I digress. I really only wished in some way to compliment you on your skill, which I earnestly do mean. May you long remain the King of reads.

Edward Boult
