First off, I love your Sharpe books and I can’t wait for the next one to come out. Have you ever thought about writing a book about the Seven Year’s War? I’m sure that somewhere in either the European or American theaters you could have a Sharpe-like character. The American theater was where British light infantry first truly evolved, and they were good. The lesson was forgotten during the American Revolution, and the British paid for it. Also, any hint as to the background for your next Sharpe novel? Erik
