Dear Mr Cornwell, as an avid reader of your novels (of which I have no favourite period or character, as they are all superb). I was wondering if during research for the Sharpe series you have heard mention of a french pow camp around the Bristol area. I have found plenty of reference to the camp at Norman Cross, Cambridgeshire, a real den of iniquity if ever there was one, but struggled to find anything on this camp even though many antiques of prisoner of war crafts have appeared including a ship of the line perfectly manufactured to the finest detail which went for £4,400.
