Dear Mr. Cornwell I started reading the Eagle series written by Simon Scarrow and enjoy the books. But the story is written mostly from the roman point of view. I would like to read about this period of time from the British point of view. Are you planning the write about this time period yourself or do you have any reading suggestions?
Also I noticed that though called the Arthur books. The books feature Derfel Cardan more prominent than Arthur. Which is good in my opinion for he (Derfel) is my all time favourite character. Why and how did you come to the decision to tell the story through Derfel and not through Arthur? My last question is what is your opinion on religion? Is the role the Church plays in your books all based on history or which I highly suspect (and hope) also partly your own opinion? Frank Kramer
