Dear Mr Cornwell, I particularly enjoyed reading Sharpe’s Honour because the scenes involving Helene, especially the rescue from the convent and the subsequent night at the inn showed a lot of humour and made me laugh out loud on occasions. Are there any more Sharpe books on the horizon? Also do you think there is any possibility that Sharpe’s Tiger, Triumph, Fortress and Trafalgar will one day make it onto our screens? I have enjoyed all the Sharpe books. I love the combination of working class lad made good, explosive adventure, fighting against the odds and good old fashioned romance from the days when men were men and women were glad of it. I hope against hope that there are more Sharpe books to come. I have a copy of Sharpe’s Devil but don’t want to read it yet in case it really is the end. Your’s sincerely, Patricia Boggan
