Mr Cornwell, Thank you so much for endless hours of sheer entertainment. I have read the first four Sharpe novels (in chronological order), and have found them riveting reading. In the television series, Sean Bean is our hero, and I must admit that I visualise Mr Bean as Sharpe when I read the novels. I wondered if you have a preconceived idea of Sharpe’s description when you put him through his paces, and if so has this changed since you first started writing about Sharpe? Thanks again, Jim.
