Hello, Mr Cornwell I will not exaggerate by saying that you are the best writer of historical novels I have come across. And I have read quite a few. I love the way your characters develop throughout the story, the fact that there is constant action (meaning things happening and not necessarily bullets fired) and personal drama which helps the reader get emotionally involved in the story. I must confess I fell in love with the Arthur trilogy and have read all three books several times. They are fantastic! I totally agree with what another fan of yours has suggested earlier, namely, that the Arthur trilogy would make a very interesting film. I am a writer myself, writing in my native tongue (Bulgarian) and I would like to know how long it took you to complete each book of The Arthur trilogy, from the thinking up of the plot and the characters until the writing up of the last few sentences.
