Dear Mr Cornwell, I’ve just finished writing a book. Excepting a few minor things I need to check it’s entirely finished. I was wondering if there is some sort of standard format that manuscripts should take? (At 12pt Times New Roman I get 550-600 words per A4 page, which seems rather a lot). Also, I’ve not yet begun agent-hunting, and if you know of any agents interested in the fantasy genre and could help me make contact I’d be very grateful (I know you don’t write fantasy, so this is a long shot, but I thought it worth a try).
