I would first like to say that I love the Sharpe series. I saw a bit of a movie on TV, and immediately started reading the books. The way that you include the historical facts, and have an adventurous novel at the same time is amazing. My question is that during the beginning of the novels, it mentions how Harper misses his Donegal home, but ends up opening a tavern in Dublin. I wondered why he didn’t work in Donegal? Thank you in advance.
