Mr. Cornwell, Thank you for considering a book about Charles Martel and the battle of Tours. I doubt that any other writer today could tell the tale of that time and place like you could. My two brothers and I love history, our wives do not. So we leave them home and visit places like Stonehenge and Newgrange. After reading the Warlord Chronicles I suggested we go to Wales this year.
