dear sir I am a big fan of yours and have amassed most of your works. I graduated from university in July and am going to India for three months in January. Military history is my love and passion and I want to visit as many battlefields in India as I can, including the ones which form the basis of Sharpe’s Tiger, Triumph and Fortress. I was hoping that you could offer me some advice on the best ways to visit these places, and I was wondering what your opinion was on the best preserved sites.
