I was under the impression that Obadiah Hakeswill died when he went into the pit with the snakes at the conclusion of “Sharpe’s Fortress”, but he then surprisingly reappeared in “Sharpe’s Company”. What did I miss? I love the Sharpe series, and am attempting to read it in chronological sequence. I am now at “Sharpes Sword”. The Grail Quest series was also great, and I read almost every book of yours I can find. Thanks for the great entertainment and education. Phil Patchett
