Dear Bernard, as ever thanks for the books! My favourite distraction from all my Uni work is a good piece of literature. I could indulge in books on intellectual philosophy but I’d sooner read about Sharpey in a punch up! Just wanted to say that you deserve more medals from the Queen for giving us further reasons to be proud to be British. I was watching a Sharpe DVD the other day and think we are by far the best fighters in Europe. Well, its us or the Germans, but we have the stiff upper lip so that tips it our way:-) What do you think? Also when the next Saxon book comes out (which I’m really looking forward to) do you think you’ll do another book signing like in York? Go on, Ill buy you a pint.
