Dear Mr Cornwell, I just wanted to say how much I loved your novel Redcoat. I’m a Philadelphian and passonately interested in the city’s history and the Revolutionary War. I haven’t been able to find many books on the suject until I stumbled upon yours. Furthermore you tell it from the British point of view and in america our historical perspective is so one sided. Do you like Philly? What made you want to write readcoat? One more question. I’m sorry there are so many, but is the name Scammell important to you?
