Dear Mr. Cornwell, I am a huge fan of your books (although I was a little disappointed with the Grail series) and have a suggestion that I very much hope will help. While I know that you are quite busy at the moment as far as writing goes, I have a topic I would hope you would at least consider writing about. I would hope you consider the topic of The Great War (WWI) for a variety of reasons. One reason is that writers in general have written little about this topic. I know that it may seem a bit of a modern topic for a historical writer but you must remember it was a the first modern conflict it was still fought for old world ordeals and with old tactics. I believe that a war with over thirty million casulties deserverse more than it’s current state of recognition and considering you are one for taking on obscure topics I am hopefull that you will think about the Great War as a book topic.
