Dear Mr Cornwell, Firstly congratulations on the OBE. In your case it isn’t “Other B**ers efforts. I’ve just finished and enjoyed Sharpe’s Fury, I’m so pleased you are able to insert new adventures into his life. I’m a fervent fan of the Napoleonic wars so please forgive me for being picky but I believe that there were no brown coated Cacadores at Barrossa just the blue coated light companies of the 20th Portugese line, and in 1811 weren’t the Spanish still in white? Your Sharpe books have given me such great pleasure over the years. Thank you. Alec Duncan (I don’t think I’m related to the Alex Duncan RA of Barrosa)
