I have not got around to reading the Saxon stories yet (mea culpa, mea maxima culpa!) and would love to see you turn your attention (and keyboard)to classical era such as the Persian Wars with Greece. Check out Tom Hollands cracking history Persian Fire and you will see what I mean! Besides your the only writer I read (and trust me I read A LOT!) who can capture the historical “feel” of the horror and lets face it who wouldnt want a crack at writing about the Leonidas and the 300?
