I wasn’t really sure that I should try and contact you, mainly as I feel that those that do tend to be telling you the same old thing and can be rather boring at the same time. However, that said I will try not to tell you the same thing and be boring. You decide! However, I would like to take the opportunity of saying how much I enjoy reading your books, particularly the Sharpe series, but also the Grail Quest, was Thomas of Hookton an early rifleman? The one thing I would suggest, and I don’t know if you have ever been asked previously, but have you ever thought of getting Sharpe put into a PC Game, you have numerous plots, tasks, friends/allies, enemies and villians not to mention batlle scenes that could really grip young people. At the same time they may be able to learn more about History which could lead them to read your books. I’m not a game maker nor a pc expert so I have no intention of plugging you about a company of mine. Just an idea I had the other day. Anyway it would be very nice to hear your thoughts in due course, keep up the writing, but where on earth did you come up with the name Starbuck – please don’t say the coffee shop! Best wishes Les
