Greetings Mr. Cornwell, I have just read Harlequin for the first time, and I was enthralled by it. I am a medievam re-enactor and an archer so the tale from thr archer’s point of view was marvelous. I have a question though. I have been led to believe that archers were all common men and were not knighted, inHarlequin you have Will Skeat knighted just before Crecy. Is this a creation on your part or did your research to write the book turn up evidence of the knighting of archers? Thank you Rob Maddison St. Catharines Canada
