For my Writing Class in college, we were told to write a research paper on anything that we could fit our mind around, and something we would enjoy writing about. For whatever reason I decided to choose The Legend of Arthur. I decided to pick out your warlord trilogy, and I was so blown away I read them all in two weeks time, and it was a great two weeks. I fell in love with your story, so beautifully woven between legend and fiction. I truly applaud you on those books. I did have one question; you said in one of your Author’s Note’s, that Derfel was written about in some of the first tellings of the Arthurnian stories, and I was wondering do you think that there was some person in any way resmembling the Derfel in your story?
