Dear Mr Cornwell, I’ve been reading your books for a long time, and I would just like to ask you a question. Are you likely to write any more books with Rider Sandman from Gallows Thief, or was that just a one off? I ask because I greatly enjoyed the story, it really brought that period in London to life and I would love to read more. Also, I must just say that I’m so glad that I have discovered this website – I do not live in an English speaking country, and in the past I didn’t know if there were any new books out, etc, and it could be difficult to find out. One other suggestion for you – have you considered publishing translated versions of the Sharpe series? I know the Arthur books and the Grail series at least are available in translation, but Sharpe is not, and I know a lot of people who want to read about him but struggle with English. (I live in Greece, and the TV series was shown here some time ago, sparking some interest in Sharpe). M Slavidou
