Hello once more Bernard…..I am almost finished ‘Excalibur’ and have been delaying the final chapters as I am reluctant to exit the ‘Warlord Chronicles’. I will no doubt have to re-read it at some stage to again immerse myself in what has been a thoroughly captivating Arthurian series. I suspect that many of your readers are unaware of the depth of research, sourced from previous writings, that you have embedded in this trilogy…..eg Merlin as the guardian of the 13 great treasures, the treasures themselves (knife, cloak, basket, Diwrnach’s cauldron, excalibur, etc), recorded battles, Nimue’s imprisonment of Merlin, maps with precise place-names of the time, minor character names, etc, etc. You must have compiled a very extensive body of literary sources and studied these before devising how you would incorporate these stories and ‘facts’ into your own unique tale……yes ?……A tale that I believe is the leader amongst all works about Arthur. Cheers from DownUnder…………Darryl Potter.
