Dear MR Cornwell, I have read the vast majority of your works, beginning some years ago with Rifles when is was 13. After seeing the Sharpe series I would just like to express how much I enjoy your books and hope that you continue to write them. I would also like to enquire to whether after Sharpes Challenge there will be more films? I eagerly await Sharpes Fury I was ecstatic when I found you had written another Sharpe. I am an avid Sharpe fan. I wonder if you have thought about Sharpe in the Crimea as you probably know Lord Raglan was on Wellington’s staff and I was thinking is there a possibility it the future we may see a Sharpe’s Sevastopol?

I know it has been suggested Sharpe may die in 1860. I also wonder what you thought of Sharpe’s Challenge killing off Lcille and why Sharpe didn’t have his baker rifle? yours, Matthew Moss.
