Dear Bernard Cornwall, Have been reading your books since ‘Eagle’ in 1981. All the early ones were from the library, couldn’t afford to buy, and have thoroughly enjoyed them. Consequently had my own picture of Sharpe before the TV series was made and Sean Bean took over. Was delighted when you went back and covered his early life. Can you say anything about whether the new TV film showing tomorrow is to be published in book form? Am currently trying to get my husband into your books, starting at the very beginning! Have also equally enjoyed all the other themes and series. Each teaches something about the time covered. Hope that there will be follow ups in due course on all series’. Keep up the good work.
