Mr. Cornwell, I love your books, especially the Sharpe Series and the Saxon Series. I did notice though that you are a sailor and love the sea. Could there ever be a nautical series in the works? Thank You. John Auger

Hello Bernard! I started reading your Sharpe series with “Sharpe’s Eagle” and have just finished “Sharpe’s Devil.” I can’t imagine where you find the time to write such quality material in such volume but I appreciate it more than I can express. Thanks for a truly mesmerizing read and hours and hours of skull flensing entertainment! HA! As a Hornblower fan (read them just before yours), I was very pleased to see his honorable mention in “Devil” and doubly pleased to see Sharpe in a maritime setting. Fortunately, I still have a few Sharpe’s left – I plan on picking up from the beginning with Sharpe’s Tiger (and the four that follow) and will be buying the short stories afterwards. After that, who knows? Probably give Starbuck a try. In the meantime, two questions from a lawyer (Don’t delete!!!! Read on!!! Please!!!) who hereby relinquishes all rights and interest in anything whatsoever which may arise from same from now until the end of the world: 1) Any chance of a seafaring series? 2) Ever consider a series based on the American Revolutionary War? – Tim P.S.: As an attorney, I always enjoy good lawyer jokes and chuckle every time I see lawyers mentioned in your books. Funny thing is, I’ve had more in-court discussions (we spend a lot of time waiting to see judges, clerks, etc.) about your books than any other Author. Keep up the excellent work (and the rifleman’s pace… please). Tim McEnaney
