First of all, I’d like to thank you for the great books you’ve written. I just finished the Arthur Books, and next ones are ordered. I do however have a small question about this trilogy. Throughout the whole trilogy you maintain a temperate approach on religion, magic and curses. Almost all events which seem in some way divine (be it heathen or Christian) to the people in the book, can be rationally explained, like the Northern Light at Mai Dun, or the sudden fog at Ynys Mon. But then, in the third book, there are several ‘irrational’ elements which climax in the curse (and the lifting of it) which Nimue sends upon Ceinwyn. It’s an occurrence that cannot be explained and that forces the reader to believe that there is some sort of magic, or some divine power after all. I’m merely inquiring what you yourself thought about implementing this in a trilogy which besides this remains very realistic concerning religion and magic. Thanks in advance, Robin
