I love your books. I couldn’t wait till The Pale Horsemen came out and then I read it in a few days. I was so happy to learn that the third book is coming out this year! I also loved the Grail and Author trilogies. I noticed that your characters have divided, or potentialy divided loyalties. Derfel is of Saxon blood, but considers himself a Briton, Utred is a Saxon growing up a Dane, and Thomas is a French Englishmen. Is this because you are an Englishmen living in the U.S.? I read you refused to get a green card, did you pull experiences of being English living in America for your books? I also noticed your books take a very pessimistic view of Christians. Now I have the upmost respect for you as an author and eageraly await your third Saxon book, but you seem to characterise christians as all being decietfull, intolerant, mean, and well, just plain evil. Why is this? I read that you grew up in a religious family. My parents were very strict christians and I know that that is not always easy. I have always wondered why it seems you have a beef with christians. I hope I didn’t offend, I love your books and I hope Ridley Scott or Mel Gibson make a movie of your books someday. Thanks for such great stories! Kirk Jackson
