I first came across SHARPE’S EAGLE some 20+ years ago and adored it. I have now read and own all of your works including those with your wife. I know you say that a Starbuck may come along sometime in the future but please, please, please try and do one soon. The recent Sharpes have become rather formulaic and no character has ever bettered Obadiah Hakeswill – one of my all time favourites and perfected in the TV series. Can he too walk again in one of the earlier timed books? You give me wonderful entertainment and joy. Thank you. David Ward
