I have really enjoyed reading all your books in the Sharpe series, since I finished reading Sharpe’s Escape I seem to have lost something. Will you be producing any more stories I know you must get asked this a lot but when you create something as good as that you can’t just stop we need to be fed. Also do have any news on the new film or series that you are rumored to be in talks with? Thanks for enjoyment you have given me. Dave D

Dear Mr. Cornwell, My family and I are great fans of your Sharpe series – our favorite among your books. However, I just finished The Last Kingdom and had a small fit because I didn’t want it to end! I could have read on for another entire book, so am really looking forward to the next one. Is there any chance of a movie being made of any of the Sharpe books? And soon, before Sean Bean gets any older, as he is, to most of us, Richard Sharpe in the flesh. Anyone else would be a poor, weak imitation. Also, in reference to your Australian fan, he might try his local library. That is where we were able to get the Sharpe tv series. Roberta Parker

Hi there Bernard! Just heard some gossip from a 3rd party that someone in the US of A is going to make a film about Richard Sharpe for the cinema and that Sean Bean is not going to play our hero. Please tell me this is not true! Keep up the good work Cheers! Linda
