Hello Bernard, I contacted you via this site about 5 years ago to say how much I enjoyed your books, but surprisingly never read any Sharpe due to enjoying the TV show and not wanting to ruin that love by reading the books which would no doubt shame the TV format. Your reply was to the lines of ‘just read the books Gary’ well I had a number of books I wanted to read but in July of this year via my kindle (talking of kindles i would love to hear your thoughts on this wonderful advancement in reading experiences) I started from the start chronologically and I must say The last 4-5 months have been the greatest reading experiences of my life, so just wanted to say thank you Bernard
