Your response to my question to Sharpe’s medals is interesting. Yes they did not award medals during the peninsular wars and Sharpe would have received the Waterloo medal, if he was still alive in 1847 (only you can tell if he was) he would have been able to claim the military general service medal with a number of pars for the battles he fought in he fought in, including Vittoria, Badajoz, Corunna.. and the Naval general Service medal bar Trafalgar. I’ll sit down and work out his bars… if he was alive of course…
