How could you not have mentioned to that fellow who was looking for books about Rogers Rangers the classic “Northwest Passage” by Kenneth Roberts? (I know you are familiar with Roberts as you mentioned him in a recent post.) It was also made in to a pretty good movie of the same name starring Spencer Tracy as Rogers (still not available on DVD for some reason, though.)
