Dear Mr Cornwell, Greetings from Finland. I just wanted to thank you of the wonderful experiences and discoveries that your books have brought. I have read all the Sharpe books, Redcoat and the Fort and am currently eagerly awaiting for the release of the Death of Kings. Sharpe was the first of your heroes I came across, so I guess you could say he is the one I am most draw to of your stories. I actually first came across Sharpe as a child, reading a Finnish translation of Sharpe’s Company. I ran into Sharpe again when my sister, who is a huge Sean Bean fan, introduced me to the films some years ago. Being a military history buff I was sucked in immediately. From there I delved into your books. I enjoy the background information that you have provided in many of the notes as well, as they have led me to read many non-fiction books on the era. You have a terrific way to embed the historical aspects into your stories, whether Sharpe or Uhtred. Do you think there is a chance Sharpe will still march again someday, or is he retired now? I wish you all the best. Kind Regards, Annastina Reims
