Dear Mr Cornwell. I live in the Parish of Thundersley and attend St Peter’s church but am now a regular worshipper at St Michael’s in Daws Heath. I am sure you will recall the little wooden church in the corner of the field at Daws Heath, which has been standing there for about 90 years. Now, that little wooden church has, we feel, reached its sell by date and we have decided to rebuild a new larger, but still wooden church. Hopefully all will be completed next year, a year in which the Queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee and in which the 2012 Olympic mountain biking competition comes to Hadleigh Castle. I just thought you would be interested on the latest very significant news of the Parish of Thundersley. Yours very sincerely. Mike Parker.
