Dear Bernard I have just finished reading your book ‘The Fort’ and found it a great read. As a former British army Paymaster I found it quite interesting to learn that Lt Moore was the Paymaster of the 82nd! I read your book ‘Agincourt’ which was also a terrific read. Someone has given me The Saxon Stories which I look forward to reading too. Keep writing!!
