Hello, No question, just sincere thanks. A friend gave me the first the Saxon Series books last week and I devoured them. She knew I would love them and was right. My father was from Denmark and I will never forget him asking a friend of mine if she was Irish and, when she replied yes, he stated “The reason there are no more pretty girls in Ireland was because the Vikings had taken them all back to Denmark.” He always said when he died we were not to have a service but to sit around the table, have a feast, say Skol and talk about all his adventures (he was a seaman then, later in life, a longshoreman).
