I’m reading AGINCOURT now and thoroughly enjoy it—if I can say that as some of the characters are awful. I was telling my husband that usually you have a really good character who is besieged by a really bad character. I am in love with Richard Sharpe and wish someone else (not the actor who has played him) would come to the fore and do some movies. I have read about half of the Sharpe series and got sidetracked with the Hooks. I have a reading buddy at one of my places of work and we share your stories. Never a fan of organized religion, especially Roman Catholicism, your stories paint an horrific picture of the hypocrisy of “the Church.” Thanks for telling an excellent tale told in the accuracy of the times as you make history interesting. And thanks for so many more books I’ve yet to read. My reading buddy is a Vietnam veteran and fellow social science professor. I am 62 myself. Thanks a bunch. Jane Mudrovich Kidder
