Hi Mr Cornwell, when I first saw your website and that you were in or near Chatham I thought great, perhaps as I used to live there I might pop back and look you up for a chat about Napoleonic warfare, then I saw the letters after your Chatham…MA, Blast! I come from Chatham in Kent UK, not Chatham in the USA, so we are destined never to meet, however I shall continue to explore the Napoleonic defences in the UK, (Including Chatham)and of course read your books, ps. I too now live in Essex.
