I always enjoyed watching the Sharpe series on TV but never fancied reading the novels…that was until fathers day 2010 when my daughter, who knew I liked Sharpe, bought me the first four books in the series. Since then up to what is almost fathers day 2011 I have read the whole series, after Sharpe’s Rifles I just had to carry on until Sharpe’s Devil.
