In the space of one month I have devoured all five of your thriller sailing novels. To say I cried on reading the last page of the last one is an understatement because by then you (through your vivid detail and description) you have mentally taught me to understand boats and for the first time I have gone sailing the high seas (in my imagination only). You got me looking up all the sailing terminology, studying charts and trying to work out what bits go where in building a sailing boat. WHAT A JOURNEY! Thank you. You are a writer par excellence. My partner Mike has also had his nose stuck in reading the Saxon Stories, the Grail Quest. In other words, we have hardly had a proper conversation in an entire month whilst we devoured your writings – but were content to sit or lie in bed reading away until sleep exhausted our eyes. Our local library has done a great job of getting hold of all our requests. Merely write to say a big THANK YOU once again!
