Hello, have just finished re-reading your wonderful Warlord Chronicles. They are truly brilliant – I have always loved that period of history, and I think you capture the mixed-bag of religious belief of that period so well. I used to teach A Level Roman Britain, as part of an A Level Ancient History course, and particularly enjoyed giving a lesson on the close similarities between Mithraism and Christianity. (However, I seem to recall it never went down well with one girl who was a born again Christian!). The supernatural aspects of the book are also done so well. The Last Enchantment is captivating. Many thanks for the best Arthurian novels I’ve read.
