Dear Bernard, Having watched the TV series i avowed to read all the novels in the Sharpe series. Then someone mentioned I should do it in sequence so after 3 years I have just completes Sharpe’s story. Thank you. I hope that the old soldiers managed to grow old gracefully – just fade away. Pity about old Daniel though. The books have ignited a little bit of passion for this period in history and I hope to read Wellingtons life story soon. I have also read the Grail Quest series, Azincourt and last week on holiday read Stonehenge. Next I’ll tackle the Arthur and Saxon series’. So at the moment you could say you are favourite author.
