Hello Mr. Cornwell! Just wondering if you knew that Sharpe has made his first video game appearance. In the popular PC game “Napoleon: Total War” by Creative assembly, there was recently an expansion released featuring a campaign centered on the peninsular war. One of the bonuses in the expansion is a unique recruitable unit, the 95th Rifles. Oddly enough, when viewed in battle, the unit’s officer is dressed far less formally than other units, and he carries a rifle. Anyway, the game is great, and realistic enough that knowing a bit about Napoleonic tactics from your books has really given me an edge.
