Like many others, I find your writing simply intoxicating, and yours are the only books I just can’t put down, but have to read from cover to cover in the quickest possible time!
The Saxon series and Uhtred are possibly my favourites, though the Grail series and Thomas Hookton have me missing regular meals as well as business appointments to find what’s going to happen! When I read 1356 and Azincourt I was in seventh heaven, and all have pride of place in our book collection we make available to holidaymakers in our deepest Devon holiday barn conversion…..so please continue such intoxicating writing, and especially Uhtred’s and Thomas Hookton’s adventures.
What wonderful films and TV series they would make!
Isn’t it about time we English had another hero to follow on the silver screen after James Bond?
Lastly I have ideas of writing books, well one would be a start, and the way yours grip me is the effect I dream of having on others……til then and your next book, my fondest regards to you, Uhtred and Thomas
