My son David who works at the British Museum took me up to Eddisbury Hill Fort in Kelsall ,Cheshire, which i never new existed.I live close by at Utkinton.From that I became interested in The Lady of The Mercians.There is a plaque on Pale Heights near the fort mentioning her name.From that I read the Last Kingdom and I was hooked.I am currently on book Five and would like to say Thank You.The books have brought me great pleasure.
