Dear Mr Cornwell
This is the second time I have written to you. The first time was about 10 years ago which you were kind enough to respond.
I’m English and very proud of being so, however I’m also proud of being British and this probably stems from our islands history and how it has transformed the world.
10 years ago I detailed how much I had enjoyed your Sharpe TV series in the 90’s which got me in to reading all of the novels and I mentioned at the time its good to see and Englishman in a heroic light.
Since reading the Sharpe novels I always keep an eye out for any of your new ones and have since read all of the Grail Quest, Stonehenge the Fort and the Saxon Chronicles, all which I have enjoyed. So thank you.
Due to your work and realising I enjoy historical novels I have since got into Simon Scarrow and Conn Iggulden.
I would love to see the grail or Saxon series made into a TV/movie.
Thanks again, keep up the great work.
Andrew North
