My name is Jaques Artuso Grisang, I am a brazillian lawyer, I’m 24 years old and I first read The Winter King about a year ago. From then on I’ve already purchased The Warlord Chronicles, The Grail Quest, Stonehenge, Azincourt, The Fort and about 6 minutes ago I finished Death of Kings.
I’ve come here to say that your work is incredible, I love history and I am fascinated by it. So, I find your writings very enjoyable, even the ones that are fairly fictional (like Stonehenge). I am very curious about your early works, like Redcoat, but they are very difficult to come by in Brazil, and only those books I mentioned to have purchased are available in Portuguese (as well as Sharpe’s, but I need some more cash to buy those).
Well, what I came here to say, “fandom” aside, is that I wish you many more years to come, that I wish you health and fortune for the rest of your days, and that I pray that you live enough to finish the Saxon Stories, I must see Uthred regain Bebbanburg, and he is my favorite character so far, flawed and full of rage as he is.
