The Paul Revere legend is disturbing to the extent that it is nearly emblematic of the propaganda surrounding the idea of “the greatest country in the world”! Now, having said that, I wish to compliment you to the fullest extent for one particular line: bottom of pg 682; “…history is a fickle muse and fame her unfair offspring.” Wonderfu!
